Greetings Alamo ASHRAE,
It’s June! The heat has returned, the BBQs have started, and everyone is seeking their favorite watering hole. With several days already into triple digits, this year’s season is looking to be a hot one. I hope this letter finds you staying hydrated during this busy season for the HVAC industry.
We have one last chapter meeting planned for this year, before breaking for July. Our June meeting will feature an Ethics presentation from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Come out and catch up with some colleagues, while getting your 1-hr credit required for license renewal.
A quick reminder, this year’s ASHRAE Summer Meeting will be in Houston, TX June 24th-27th; more information is included online and in the chapter newsletter. This is a great opportunity to attend, since it is so close to San Antonio.
This year has flown by, but it has certainly been a pleasure serving the chapter. I’d like to thank all our other volunteers who have lent a hand throughout this past year. Job well done!
As this year winds down, the newly elected chapter officers and committee members are busy at work ramping up planning for next year. Anyone interested in volunteering is encouraged to contact our officers for more information.
Please check the chapter website for updates about the August Member Social, and dates for next year.
